Girls Night Out
I'm very excited that "Baskets Amore" will have my Halloween Jewelry with them at the MCM Fun Dome at Girls Night Out on Friday. It's supposed to be a great evening of fun, so you might want to go check it out! I also have a few new "punkins" that will be added to the group. I sure hope I can go. I will be babysitting Westley all day on Friday while Sarah goes with Willow and her class to Prude Ranch! Hopefully his Daddy and Paw Paw will be home in time for me to escape! Later next week I'll be adding some things to a new Etsy store I'm creating. BlesSings and if I don't talk to you before...Have a GREAT weekend!

Pics!
It's been a crazy weekend! I ended up taking care of Mr. Westley on Saturday and didn't get to Michael's very early...so I didn't get my stuff finished....SO...I didn't get the pics taken! My intentions were great last night, but I thought I had plenty of silver bead cones to finish the necklaces and I did not! I didn't think Teri at "Beads and More" here in Odessa, would appreciate a midnite phone call to meet me down there, so I had to wait til today. So sorry! This was one of my first attempts at poly clay Sculpture...up to this point I've only played with shapes and texture. I was scheduled to take a fabulous class from an awesome clay artist, but that was the weekend that Wendy died. "Wired Up Beads" in Dallas and the most awesome Christi Friesen sent me one of her autographed books anyway and that gave me some great inspiration plus some tricks and tips...and here are the results. A Batty Bat, a Silly Pumpkin, a not so Wicked Witch and my Blobby Monster Lady. The other jewelry sets are more traditional. If you're interested in any or ALL! LOL...let me know!

The Beginning
I started this blog a few months ago and kept waiting to "blog" until I had the perfect design on my page. I designed, and then Tim told me it was too busy. I needed something "sleeker" So I asked for help. I'm still waiting. So I decided to just start! This blog is all about my journey in beading. I finally got my studio all re-organized and after working this week, it's a mess again...I guess I'm just a messy worker. My mind just moves so quickly and I need lots of stuff to get things made! I've been very productive and will post some of my new "Halloween" theme stuff and a few fun little monster creatures I sculped out of polyclay. They are going to be baked tonite when I get home, so be ready! The little guys ( and a little funky monster lady) will be ready to wear by tomorrow.
